Prescription renewals done during an appointment are covered by OHIP.

Prescription renewals requested by phone or fax, whether by patient or pharmacy, are not covered by OHIP and the patient will be charged a $25 fee, unless the block fee has been paid.

If you are okay with the fee and you know a renewal is needed then please have the pharmacy fax us a request, an invoice will follow.

If you are not enrolled in the block fee program and would like to book an appointment to have your prescriptions reviewed/renewed, please allow at least 2 weeks notice when calling to book your medication refill appointment.

Please avoid calling reception with medication renewal requests. Renewal requests need to come from pharmacy to physician via fax for fastest service.
